12/4/2020. The pavers were finished today! Unfortunately, the wonderful company who installed them "Bay Area Interlocking Pavers" left without repairing the original pavers that have been badly broken during the construction & with heavy equipment running over them. I spoke with Alfredo and Jose Jr. about this & expected that they were going to do the repairs.

11/24/2020. We did a walk through with Jose, Jr. and Jeff today. Things are coming together, but there is much to do!
11/20/2020. Leslie, our wonderful landscape architect visited today to place the plants. She determined that most parts of the yard that she looked at weren't finished enough to place the plants. She will contact Jeff, the owner of the landscape company, to coordinate another time. One great thing: I really wanted a stream bed with running water. Leslie determined that there were not enough rocks to make a rock wall. So, we are going to make a stream bed in the back. The pump will be placed on a mound and the water will run over rocks in the stream bed. I'm so excited about this. Also, there is one species of plants that I don't like and she is going to remove them. It was a great meeting.
11/19/2020. We worked with Jose Jr. to place the basins for the two water features.

11/16/2020 The planter boxes arrived today on my Father's Birthday! They were built by a metal fabricator in Coursegold California (3 hours away)!

11/11/2020. We worked quite a long time with the landscaping crew to reduce the size of the "no mow" grass. We positioned the antique hay rake to make sure we had it right. We are happy with the new layout.
11/06/2020 We ventured to Half Moon Bay today to Spanish Town to look at Boulders. We selected these. (Tall column on the bottom). They look great with water running in them. Together they weigh 1,000 pounds!
